Trip to Sioux Falls, SD

Noah and I drove to Sioux Falls to pick up an old snowgun we won in an auction and to check on our new snowguns that were delivered for Great Bear.

Legion Lake in Custer State Park, SD. We took a few days to explore on the way back.

Green Mountain Bike Ride, Lakewood, CO

We pushed our bikes up that road behind Noah. It was too steep for him to ride with his 1 speed. Took us about 2.5 hours! Noah refused to turn around at any point!

This is 2.75 hours into a 4.75 hour ride! The whole time, I was thinking how lucky I am to have a 6 year old who loves to do stuff like this! :o) He won't stop for anything! If he can't make it up a hill, his feet are walking his little single-speed bike before they hit the ground! He's an animal!! It was all single track on the 2 hour ride back.

Mackinac Island, MI, Take Two

You can't tell that Noah busted his head open on the night stand and got 7 staples the day before! We enjoyed our seven hour bike ride on the island.

The ferry was a ton of fun, too!

Mackinac Island, MI

This is the bike path around Mackinac Island, MI. We biked half way around the island and then took the road that goes right through the middle. It was a nice little climb. We stopped to check out St. Ann's Cemetery for a while and read about 20 inscriptions on the stones, then headed back to town. We saw the Grand Hotel, but Noah just wanted to ride, ride, ride, so we did..for SEVEN hours!!!

Tim was so nice to do a presentation for our homeschool group today! We found out that, in addition to chasing tornadoes, Tim is really into lightning. We learned a lot about both today.

Noah's 6th Birthday Party
