Columbia River, WA & OR

View of Washington from Oregon on the Columbia River Highway. It was one of the most beautiful highways I've ever driven.

Kellogg, Idaho

This old air compressor was in the Bunker Hill Mine.

Silver Mountain Resort Gondola. They were doing a training.

Noah and I walked to the Shoshone County Mining & Smelting Museum. It was closed, but a really nice man, who had once worked in the mine, gave us a tour of the museum and showed us some old minerals, maps and ledgers. It was SO cool!

A Carousel for Missoula, Montana

At "A Carousel for Missoula", Noah figured out that the spinning carousel would make his pinwheel spin...no lightheadedness involved!

Lunchtime fun.

On this day, I walked and Noah rode his bike to the carousel from the hotel. Jason was gone in the truck, with Noah's gloves. His little hands were freezing so bad on the ride that I stopped to warm them up on me. A lady stopped at the stoplight saw me warming his hands and offered her gloves to him! It was the nicest thing!!! ♥

The Supercrystal cranking out some snow and a cute little dude making snow angels. How appropriate!

SLC Library

The Salt Lake City Library is SO cool! What other library do you know of that has a park on the top of the building, elevators where you can examine all the internal parts and caves down below to explore? It was one of Noah's favorite places in all our travels!

Rooftop park.

Elevator.

Elevator.

Cave for reading...or hiding from polar bears.

Salt Lake City, Utah...exploring

The capital building in the capitol of Utah. :o)

I'm not sure about this bird thingy. I'll have to ask about it the next time we're in SLC!

Fun thing at a park.

Light rail. Of course, Noah loves it!
